Aaron Williamson is the latest driver to earn the chance to make his Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship debut with Team HARD after inking a deal for Finals Day at Brands Hatch.

Williamson will follow Robb Holland and Howard Fuller in making his BTCC bow at the wheel of the team's Honda Civic, with the 20-year-old moving into the series on the back of solid performances in both the Ginetta Junior Championship, Ginetta GT Supercup and the Renault Clio Cup.

"I'm not going to Brands to get in the way of the drivers fighting for the championship, but I'm certainly aiming for a top ten result or two," he told BTCC.net. "Above all it'll give me a chance to expose my sponsors to what the BTCC is all about as it's something I aspire to. I've got myself a very good car and a team I'm also very comfortable with for my debut."

Team boss Tony Gilham was pleased to welcome Williamson onboard.

"Aaron is the latest young talent we are looking to bring through," he said. "He's been on the BTCC package in the support races for over four years and we believe he will fit the type of driver we want in our car..."

With Fuller having raced the Civic at Rockingham, Holland is set to drive the car at Silverstone having spent last weekend competing in the World Touring Car Championship at Sonoma.
