It's that time of year again to take stock and evaluate who has performed and who is in need of improving, with F1 drivers and teams currently enjoying the annual summer break. 

Lewis Hamilton heads Sebastian Vettel by 24 points with nine races to go but that doesn't tell the full story of what has been a dramatic season so far, with momentum swinging between Mercedes and Ferrari on a race-by-race basis in what is promising to go down as a classic title fight. 

We have broken down each team and driver's performances from the opening 12 rounds to work out who has set the bar at the half-way stage of 2018 and who has flopped.
