Our good friends at Grand Prix Legends have brought to our attention these two new Ayrton Senna sculptures from the workshop of much-loved F1 cartoonist, Jim Bamber.

The sculptures form part of the 'Heroes Collection' and replicate Senna's 1985 Lotus 97T in which the late, great Brazilian legend scored his maiden F1 victory in Portugal, and his 1987 Lotus 99T with its distinctive yellow livery from that year's Detroit Grand Prix.

Each piece is limited to just 2,000 examples worldwide, and they are sure to be popular desktop accessories for all petrolheads. The release date is not until the end of September but - such is the popularity of this range and this particular subject matter - a pre-order is going to be essential.
