Ferrari reveals SF15-T

Ferrari launches the car it hopes will return it to the forefront of F1 racing with Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen at the helm

Ferrari has launched its 2015 F1 challenger after revealing the new SF15-T ahead of the new Formula 1 World Championship.

The Scuderia Ferrari team suffered a disappointing 2014 season, finishing fourth in the teams' standings, but has refreshed its driver line-up, with four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel joining from Red Bull Racing. Former F1 champion Kimi Raikkonen will stay as team-mate.

The Italian manufacturer has gone without a constructors' title for six years, but is hopeful its new car can propel the team back to the front of the F1 grid.

Team principal Maurizio Arrivabene believes the SF15-T is aesthetically much more pleasing compared to last year's car but believes the best looking car is always the winning car.

"Last year we had an ugly car and non-winning car," Arrivabene said. "I like this year's car it terms of the aesthetics but I don't know about its performance yet. I think it looks really sexy.

"The philosophy of Ferrari was dictated by Enzo Ferrari so the work we have done this winter is to enhance the team's spirit and our passion which had been lost. We need to work together to win which is our objective.

"Drivers have to work together as team-mates and with the team. The things I want to avoid are talking about the individual. I want us to work as a team to work together and to push forward."
