Call To Ban Benetton Brakes.

The Benetton team is facing calls to remove its innovative Front Torque Transfer (FTT) system, despite FIA technical delegate, Charlie Whiting, declaring it legal.

Rival teams continue to insist that the FTT system is tantamount to an anti-lock braking set-up - which are banned in F1 - and have demanded that the FIA take another look at it. The system works by transferring braking loads to the best equipped wheel, preventing locking up, and allowing greater speed to be carried through corners.
