Jordan announce three-year Puma deal.

Puma and Jordan Grand Prix announced today the extension of their long-term team gear partnership. The new 3-year contract will provide the Jordan team with team wear, footwear and accessories.

Puma branding will be featured on the race wear of the drivers and pit crew, as well the uniforms of all mechanics, engineers and team managers. Having benefited from a successful partnership since January 2001, the deal which will see the team through until the end of 2005 represents a well needed boost the the Jordan fortunes.

Puma performance racing shoes were first used by various drivers and teams in the 1970s and early 1980s. Puma's newly formed motorsport division has assembled an impressive portfolio of sponsorships to complement Jordan Grand Prix and freestyle motorcross champion Travis Pastrana. These include significant activities in Formula 1 and World Rally Championship, to be announced in the weeks to come.
