The Super Aguri F1 team's entry into the 2006 FIA Formula One World Championship is expected to be rubber stamped next week by the sports governing body.

According to reports by Reuters a spokesperson for the FIA said that as soon as they have lodged the $48 million bond then the entry will become official.

"The FIA has received official notification that all the competing teams have approved the late entry of Super Aguri to the 2006 FIA Formula One World Championship," an FIA spokesperson confirmed.

"We have also been informed that the required financial guarantee will be presented to the FIA early next week. A formal announcement of the new team's entry will be made on receipt of the guarantee."

Super Aguri announced in December that they have secured the approval of the ten other teams to compete in the sport, after missing the FIA's November deadline to deposit the bond.

Although the team has yet to announce any of its drivers, it is expected that Takuma Sato will lead the squad, with a number of other drivers including Anthony Davidson, Narain Karthikeyan, Sakon Yamamoto, Kosuke Matsuura and Yuji Ide all still possibilities for the second seat.
