A new series documenting McLaren's tumultuous 2017 Formula 1 season is set to premiere on the Amazon Prime streaming service next month.
McLaren announced last March it would be working with Amazon Prime Video on a series going behind-the-scenes at the British F1 team, offering unparalleled access and insight to its workings.
Amazon confirmed on Wednesday the series titled Grand Prix Driver will premiere on its Prime streaming platform on February 9 with the full four-episode series.
"GRAND PRIX Driver will take viewers through [Stoffel] Vandoorne’s first few months with McLaren-Honda, including his gruelling training regime, the highly anticipated launch of the new 2017 car and testing at Barcelona," a release from Amazon reads.
"Prime members will get to see challenges within the team, including rare insight into [Fernando] Alonso and his fierce drive to claim a third championship, new McLaren Executive Director Zak Brown’s quest for sponsorship in this expensive sport and the car build process, including the installation of the new Honda engine, which no team has previously allowed."
