Sebastian Vettel closed out practice for the Canadian Grand Prix fastest as Ferrari swept to another one-two finish, putting itself in good shape ahead of qualifying in Montreal.

Ferrari managed to bounce back from a difficult opening practice session to take a one-two in FP2 on Friday at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, led by Charles Leclerc, with Vettel slotting into second place.

Vettel took his turn at the head of the field in FP3 on Saturday afternoon, putting in his fastest lap on his third push lap on his set of Soft tyres to record a time of 1m10.843s.

Leclerc was left to settle for second place after locking up on his third attempt at the end of the session, finishing 0.139 seconds shy of Vettel at the head of the standings.

Mercedes could not match Ferrari's pace through FP3, with Lewis Hamilton finishing almost four-tenths of a second off the pace in P3 as he bounced back following his crash on Friday that limited his running. Teammate Valtteri Bottas slotted into fourth, over 0.6 seconds back from Vettel at the front.

Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasly finished the session in fifth and sixth respectively ahead of Renault's Daniel Ricciardo, while Lando Norris took eighth for McLaren.

Sergio Perez ended FP3 ninth for Racing Point as teammate Lance Stroll suffered a hydraulic failure that brought his session to an early end and prevented him from setting a lap time. Daniil Kvyat completed the top 10 for Toro Rosso.
