The Milton Keynes based squad became the eighth team to confirm when it will launch its 2022 car in a teaser video released on social media on Thursday morning.

With only Williams and Haas left to announce their car launch plans, Red Bull appears to be the first team to showcase its 2022 challenger, beating Aston Martin by a day.

Red Bull will put fans at the heart of the digital launch of its 2022 challenger in what it has described as being a “multi-channel fan first experience”.

Up to 5,000 fans will “curate and host the story of the 2022 season launch on their own social channels” together with drivers Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez and team principal Christian Horner when Red Bull unveils its RB18 car on Wednesday February 9.

Red Bull will give fans the opportunity to host the 2022 season launch on their social channels via the team’s digital loyalty platform, The Paddock, using “innovative technology to bring you closer to our car launch than ever before”.

McLaren is launching its MCL36 two days later on February 11, with AlphaTauri, Ferrari and Mercedes revealing their cars on February 14, 17 and 18 respectively.

Alpine will take the covers off its A522 on February 21, two days before the first pre-season test gets underway at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya in Spain.

After running a one-off interim livery during the opening pre-season test in Barcelona, Alfa Romeo will formally launch its C42 and 2022 livery on February 27.

Red Bull will be hoping its RB18 can help Max Verstappen successfully defend his maiden drivers’ world championship crown and challenge for the team’s first constructors’ title since 2013.

Verstappen will once again be partnered by two-time grand prix winner Sergio Perez for the upcoming 2022 season.
