Euro: Maki secures second win.

Mika Maki has secured his second F3 Euroseries win in as many meetings after winning the second race of the weekend at Mugello.

The Mucke Motorsport man had started the race from third on the grid but made the best start to lead into the first corner and soon started to pull out a lead over the chasing pack.

Despite his rookie status, Maki pulled away from Yann Clairay to take the chequered flag by more than six seconds for a win that sees him level on points at the top of the standings with Edoardo Mortara.

"It was an excellent race," Maki said. "I had a perfect start, a great speed and all in all a great weekend. After the start, I managed to pull clear immediately. When the gap to Yann Clairay was big enough, I tried to save my tyres and safely drove victory home."

Mortara himself took the final podium place in third while Jules Bianchi completed an impressive weekend by finishing fourth for ART - just ahead of team-mate and race one winner Nico Hulkenberg.

Manor Motorsport trio Niall Breen, Koudai Tsukakoshi and Sam Bird took sixth, seventh and eighth, while the top ten was rounded out by Dani Clos and Franck Mailleux.
