PDM to test sprint champ.
PDM Racing has scheduled an Indy Racing League rookie test for 2001 Sprint Car Racing Association champion Cory Kruseman with a view to giving him his IRL break.

PDM Racing has put more than 50 drivers through the Indy Racing League rookie programme in the last six years, among them Tyce Carlson, Billy Boat, Jon Herb, and reigning series champion, Sam Hornish Jr. For 2002, the team plans to run at least one car in the full IRL, with a possible two-car presence in the new Infiniti Pro Series which will support the oval-only championship.
The team recently gave rookie tests to USAC youngsters AJ and Aaron Fike.
