CAR-FRESHENER(R) Corporation, makers of "Little Tree" air fresheners, announced that it will sponsor the USAC National Midget Series, USAC Weld Racing Silver Crown Series, and SRL Supermodified series races at the upcoming Bombardier ATV Copper World Indy 200 at Phoenix International Raceway.
"Little Tree" air fresheners are one of the world's most recognized and respected products," said Robin Braig, Executive Vice President and General Manager at Phoenix International Raceway. "They are known for their quality and great value at an especially economical price. We feel the same way about the series that will be racing at PIR in March, so "Little Trees" sponsorship of those events is more than appropriate."
As a result of the sponsorship agreement, this year's Bombardier ATV Copper World Classic Indy 200 will feature three different races with "Little Trees" endorsement: The "Little Trees" Twin 25s, including the "Little Trees" 25 mile USAC National Midgets Series race, the "Little Trees" 25 mile SRL Supermodified race and the "Little Trees" 100 USAC Weld Racing Silver Crown race.
"Little Trees" believes in the value of motorsports marketing very strongly," said Matt Larrivee, motorsports manager for CAR-FRESHENER(R) Corporation. "We have enjoyed great success in other types of racing, and we believe our support of these three open-wheel races at Phoenix International Raceway is yet another way to thank the racing fans for their continued support."
Found in 1952, the Watertown, N.Y. -based CAR-FRESHENER(R) Corporation produces "Little Tree" air fresheners in over 40 different fragrances. "Little Trees" can be found in retail outlets all around the world.
The firm also put the "Little Trees" brand on the No.02 Chevrolet Monte Carlo of Winston Cup driver Hermie Sadler for his abortive attempt at the Daytona 500 last month. Sadler aims to run up to a dozen NASCAR events this season and is hoping to have "Little Trees" as a sponsor throughout the year.
