IRL veteran Mark Dismore will drive a Sam Schmidt Motorsports entry with primary sponsorship from Grill2Go at the 86th Indy 500.

"We are thrilled to have Grill2Go on board for this year's 500," said team owner, Sam Schmidt. "And I think a veteran like Mark Dismore will represent the Grill2Go team well and put us in a great position to compete for the win."

Dismore has been a driver in the Indy Racing League since 1996 with a 1999 victory at the Texas Motor Speedway, three other podium finishes, seven top five's and 17 top ten's.

In the 2000 Indy 500, Dismore finished 11th place, his best finish at the 500 since entering.

"I am excited to be coming back to the Indy 500 this year. There is nothing like it," says Dismore, a Greenfield, Indiana, native. "I am thrilled to be driving for Sam here at home and to have a great new sponsor like Grill2Go."

The Grill2Go entry for Sam Schmidt Motorsports will be run in cooperation with Treadway-Hubbard Racing. The car number will be announced at a later date.
