Miss Kentucky to marshal 'home' event.
Kentucky Speedway officials announced that 2002 Miss Kentucky Mary Catherine Correll will serve as grand marshal for the Belterra Casino Indy 300 on Sunday at Kentucky Speedway.
Correll, 21, hails from Somerset, Ky., and is a senior at the University of Kentucky studying to be a paediatric dentist. She is earning a bachelor's degree in biology and attending the Kentucky College of Dentistry. Her appearance at Kentucky Speedway will come three weeks prior to her participation in the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City, N.J.

Kentucky Speedway officials also announced that Alain Uboldi, vice president and general manager of the Belterra Casino Resort, will serve as the honorary starter of the race.
