Beck crew member released from hospital.
Doug Hardwick, the vent man for Shinji Nakano's #54 Beard Papa's Dallara-Honda, has been released in good condition from Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis following an incident during yesterday's Indy 500.
Hardwick, a local Indianapolis man, was hit by the left rear tyre of Nakano's car as the Japanese driver left the pits after a regulation pit-stop during Sunday's event, requiring medical attention at the circuit before being taken to hospital.
