Oriol serves a top time at sunny Surfers.

Oriol Servia opened up Saturday's running in the Lexmark Indy 300 round of the Bridgestone presents the Champ Car World Series powered by Ford with the fastest time at a gloriously sunny Surfers Paradise street course in Australia.

Servia was fastest in a session which was delayed and shortened due to some late repairs to a kerb on the temporary race track which was lashed with rain through Thursday and Friday. Red flags were also out with oil on track and a spin from Queenslander Will Power.
