Ducati: Marc Marquez 2027 MotoGP deal “pretty much finalised”
Marc Marquez’s 2027 MotoGP contract is “pretty much finalised”, says Ducati CEO.

Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali has confirmed that Marc Marquez’s 2027 MotoGP contract is “pretty much finalised”.
Like most of the leading riders, the reigning world champion’s future is still to be officially confirmed, even if most believe it was settled long ago.
"Let's say the renewals are pretty much finalised, just a few final details on everything. I think the official announcement will arrive soon,” Domenicali told GPone.com.
Domenicali confirmed that the delay in announcing rider signings is linked to ongoing negotiations between manufacturers and MotoGP’s commercial rights holder.
“It's clear that all communication has been slowed down by the ongoing negotiations with the organiser, and all of this impacts 2027.
“However, it seems to me that we're getting closer to a comprehensive solution, so I'd say we'll have clarity soon."
Title leader Marco Bezzecchi has been the exception, with Aprilia confirming a new two-year deal ahead of the Sepang pre-season test.
Marquez arrives for the French Grand Prix trailing Bezzecchi by 44 points in the standings.
A dramatic Sprint victory at Jerez was followed by an early crash in the grand prix, costing Marquez further ground in the title race.
Domenicali believes the extended break between COTA and Jerez helped Marquez’s recovery from his shoulder injury.
“The injury was certainly significant, because it kept him off the track for so long. To ride these bikes at the level needed to win, you really need to be at 101%: 98% isn't enough.
“We'll see what the situation is from here on out, but he feels good."
Pedro Acosta is expected to join Marquez in Ducati’s 2027 factory line-up, with Pecco Bagnaia set to join Bezzecchi at Aprilia.
