Rizla Suzuki unveils 2010 challenger

Ahead of what will be its 50th anniversary in motorcycle racing, Rizla Suzuki has unveiled the bike it hopes will improve its fortunes in the MotoGP World Championship arena

Determined to improve on a season in which Suzuki failed to get on the podium once, the fourth generation 800cc GSV-R has been developed with the intention of improving both acceleration and durability to coincide with the new engine restrictions to be enforced next year.

Additionally, improvements in aerodynamics, chassis performance and electronic systems have been made, leading Suzuki to label the 2010 machine as its most advanced machine yet.

The celebrate this, the bike's iconic Rizla livery has been tweaked for 2010, with the Troy Lee Designs inspired look featuring a darker shade of 'Rizla blue'.

The bike will be seen publically for the first time during the final pre-season MotoGP test at Qatar, before riders Loris Capirossi and Alvaro Bautista kick off the new season - also at Qatar - on 11th April.
