The Ducati Desmosedici GP11, which Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden will race in this year's MotoGP World Championship, was unveiled on Wednesday.

Seven time premier-class champion and national hero Rossi has joined the Italian team for his twelfth premier-class season, while Hayden will be starting his third year as a factory Desmosedici rider.

In deference to Rossi, The Doctor's favourite colour yellow has been included on his leathers and Desmosedici (including his #46) but - as expected - the livery remains predominately Ducati/Marlboro red and white.

Aside from the yellow (which is black in Hayden's case) there is an increased amount of white compared with last year, while 'Ducati' is now written largely on the side of the bike.

The small 'anti-wheelie' winglets on the side of the fairing that appeared during the 2010 season remain, although they are now painted black, while the fairing vents and general aerodynamics have been modified for 2011.
