LCR's Cal Crutchlow will race in Castrol Honda colours at this weekend's Malaysian MotoGP.

Crutchlow appeared in the Castrol branding during the post-race Brno test, but Sepang will be the first time he has used the livery at a grand prix.

Castrol Sponsorship Manager Donald Smith said: "Castrol are proud to be stepping up its support to the LCR Honda and Cal Crutchlow for the Malaysia round of the MotoGP series. Castrol have a long standing association with both MotoGP and Honda and this livery further continues to build our rich heritage."

Crutchlow, who has used a GIVI livery since the Silverstone departure of CWM, starts the penultimate round of the series holding eighth in the world championship.

"I'm looking forward to racing in Malaysia this weekend. We had a decent test here at the start of the year, that was my first time really riding the Honda properly but obviously a lot has changed since then".

"I think we are now riding a lot better than at the start of the year when I still felt comfortable, but was still learning about the bike.

"Now we have to continue in the direction we're going in as I feel we have performed well in the last couple of races, but you can always do better and I'm hoping we can improve again this weekend."
