Having previously announced Flex-Box as title sponsor for its new 2022 Ducati MotoGP project, Gresini Racing continues to add more names to the fairings.

Chinese carburettor and fuel injection manufacturer YOUALL is the latest company to join the project, which will see young Italians Enea Bastianini and Fabio di Giannantonio race GP21-based Desmosedicis.

“We have been enjoying a partnership with YOUALL in our Moto3 venture for four years already, and when the move to the premier-class became available, they were amongst the first ones to pick it up," said Carlo Merlini, Commercial and Marketing Director of Gresini Racing.

The Flex-Box Gresini MotoGP project marks a new start for the Italian team, as it reverts to full independent status after spending the last seven seasons as Aprilia's factory entry.

While the RS-GP project has brought a best finish of sixth place, Gresini still remains the most successful of the current Independent teams on paper due to its earlier satellite Honda partnership.

The team took 14 race wins between 2002-2006 and finished title runner-up on three occasions, with Sete Gibernau (2003 and 2004) and Marco Melandri (2005).

Gresini's most recent premier-class podium was with Alvaro Bautista in 2013, but more recently the late Fausto Gresini's team won the Moto3 crown in 2018 (with Jorge Martin) and MotoE title in 2019 (Matteo Ferrari).
