With Marc Marquez dominating to victory at the Aragon MotoGP, the Repsol Honda rider holds a 98-point lead in the riders’ championship with five rounds to go.

Andrea Dovizioso pulls off a remarkable recovery ride to take second place for Ducati as Jack Miller completes the rostrum for Pramac Ducati.

Maverick Vinales endured a late race fade to fourth place for Monster Yamaha ahead of standout MotoGP rookie Fabio Quartararo on the Petronas Yamaha, while Cal Crutchlow returned to form in sixth place for LCR Honda.

While Aleix Espargaro secured his best result of the season in seventh place for Aprilia, Valentino Rossi’s woes continued down in eighth place on the factory Yamaha.

Alex Rins had a race to forget in ninth place for Suzuki, after clashing with both team-mate Joan Mir and Petronas Yamaha’s Franco Morbidelli which earnt him a Long Lap penalty, as Takaaki Nakagami rounded out the top 10 for LCR Honda.

Andrea Iannone reached 11th place for Aprilia ahead of a nightmare race for Danilo Petrucci down in 12th place for the factory Ducati squad.

Miguel Oliveira secured his first points since the Austrian round in 13th place for Tech3 KTM as Mir and Tito Rabat (Avintia Ducati) completed the points places.

Jorge Lorenzo’s pain on the Repsol Honda continued as he finished in a lowly 20th place and 42 seconds behind team-mate and race-winner Marquez.

Pol Espargaro was ruled out of action for Red Bull KTM with a left wrist fracture sustain in FP4 at Aragon.
