Michael and William Dunlop came away from the 2011 Southern 100 races with silverware apiece after the former secured two Superbike wins and the latter tasted success in the 250cc race.

Michael Dunlop won two Superbike races on the PBM Street Sweep Kawasaki, breaking the Billown lap record at 2mins 15.95secs, success that also earned him the Solo Championship. In addition, Michael Dunlop was also victorious in the Supersport class.

Dunlop was denied a Superbike clean sweep by Guy Martin, who was able to sneak a victory in the Total Oils Senior Superbike race to ensure he comes away from the summer road racing season with at least one victory on the Relentless by TAS Suzuki.

His brother William, meanwhile, scored victory in the 250cc race, though he had to give best to Chris Palmer in the 125cc race.

In the remaining races, Klaus Klaffenbock and Dan Sayle won the 600cc LCR Sidecar race and Farquhar took victory in both 650cc twin aces, while Alistair Howarth, Dan Kennington and Kevin Strowger wrapped up the respective 400cc, 600b and 1000b classes.
