"The massive television coverage generated by the Series across Europe is in line with our strategy to build awareness of Fiat Commercial Vehicles in individual markets, and by being involved at both Elite and Title sponsorship level we can fully exploit our association with the FIM Speedway Grand Prix Series." says Paul Godden, Brand Manager, Fiat Commercial Vehicles.

"Not only does it give us the opportunity to promote Fiat Commercial Vehicles in general terms, but we can also use the title sponsorship package to exploit our portfolio of brands, which includes Ducato, Dobl? Cargo, Scudo and Fiat Punto Van."

John Postlethwaite, Chief Executive, Benfield Sports International, comments: "I'm delighted that after the initial sponsorship of two years has come to an end, Fiat Commercial Vehicles' analysis and evaluation of the benefits of the SGP Series has led them to renew this agreement for next year. It's great to have a quality brand like Fiat associated with the Series and their renewal speaks volumes on how the Series is continuing to develop and grow."
