Oxford Silver Machine Chief Nigel Wagstaff has finally got his man with the news that Greg Hancock has been named as the third confirmed rider to line up for Oxford in the 2004 Sky Sports Elite League.

Nigel Wagstaff has been clear from the outset that Hancock, who transformed Oxford's campaign in 2003 when he joined mid season, was top of his shopping list when he started putting his 2004 team together "Greg was always my first choice and number one priority" however he has had to work hard to ensure that everything was right for Hancock to return this year."

"Greg and I were both of the same mind but we have had to work together to see it come to fruition and I am delighted to say that everything is now in place". System Edstr?m who manufacture Drawers, Cabinets and interiors for all types of vehicles have backed Greg for a number of years have expanded their involvement within the sport over the last two years.

Commenting on the move co-owner Lars H?llsten was clearly very excited "We are proud to be involved with the Oxford Silver Machine and look forward to a prosperous and successful season in 2004".

Hancock's signing is key to the rest of the team being announced, Wagstaff continued "I am planning a young and exciting team for Oxford this year but in order for them to be successful we needed someone like Greg who would be able to advise and support their development through the season, much as he did during his short spell with us last year".
