But Glasgow are in confident mood themselves after a remarkable win at Workington on Saturday, achieved despite them competing at Derwent Park without third heat-leader Kauko Nieminen due to the Finn's involvement in the World Cup.

Sheffield were knocked off the top of the table on Sunday when King's Lynn collected a convincing 54-39 victory at Newport, their third away win of the season.

Tigers lost by seven points at Ashfield in the Premier Trophy earlier in the campaign, and the return Premier League fixture between the two sides takes place at Owlerton on August 24.

Tigers will be at full-strength with the exception of a change from their regular line-up at reserve with Mark Thompson, who top-scored for Mildenhall in their Conference League win over Plymouth yesterday, continuing to deputise for the injured Benji Compton.
