Somerset 'Mike Manning Audio' Rebel number 1, Magnus Zetterstrom, was named as the Premier League's Rider of the Year at the Speedway Riders Association Awards ceremony in Coventry.
The award comes at the end of a season which saw Zetterstrom not only head the Premier League Rider averages and win the prestigious Premier League Riders' Championship, but also lead the Somerset Rebels to 5th place in the Premier League, their highest ever position, and runners up in both the Premier Knock Out Cup and 'Fours' Championship.
