Edinburgh Monarchs make 3 signings for 2002.
Edinburgh made their first three signings for next season's team during their annual Dinner Dance on Saturday night. Peter Carr, Christian Henry and Rory Schlein have all booked their places in the team, and in the case of Carr he has signed up for 2003 as well!
Announcing the signings, promoter John Campbell said: "Every year Peter says he is tired, maybe he should retire, so this year we decided to remove all the uncertainty both for this season and next as well.

"Peter has his Silver Jubilee in 2003 and I want us to make it the best Testimonial ever for him, because he has been absolutely fantastic entertainment for us since he joined us in 1997."
2002 will be Peter Carr's sixth season with Monarchs. Henry, who returns to Australia today (Sunday), is coming back for his third season while 16 year old Schlein will be entering his first full Premier League season next year.
