Beckham offers words of support for Hare.

David Beckham has offered words of support for seriously injured Exeter rider Lawrence Hare.

The Manchester United star, currently nursing a broken foot, told the Ipswich Evening Star: "When I was interviewed recently I made a point of saying that there were plenty of people worse off than myself and Lawrence fits that category."

"I would like to extend my very best wishes to him and his family."
