Mildenhall include riders with years of experience of racing at a higher level such as Wayne Broadhurst and new rider-coach Scott Lamb. Captain Gavin Hedge and reserve Darren Andrews have also flirted with Premier League racing in the past.

The Prowlers will have a fight on their hands to defend their two year unbeaten home record. They have replaced the injured Rory Schlein with young Scot David McAllan and give a home debut to Ben Powell who top scored for the Prowlers at Buxton last week.

It's at reserve where Sheffield could have the edge. Fifteen year old Australian Trevor Harding has impressed many with his rapid improvement and points scoring while if Powell racks up the points as he did at Buxton Mildenhall could be going home empty handed.
