All roads lead to Oxford this Friday, August 2nd, 2002 when Brian Andersen stages his testimonial meeting, celebrating ten years competing in the Country.

The action gets underway a little earlier than usual with the parade of riders at 7.15pm and the first race is at 7.30pm.

A large crowd is expected to show their support and appreciation for one of the sports 'nice' guys and a top class line up has been put together which is a testament to the high regard that Brian is held in amongst the sport.

Unfortunately, due to his injury, Brian is unable to take part but is delighted that there has been so much support.

"I would like to thank all of the riders who have agreed to take part in the meeting and I just wish that I was on the track competing against them but that is not to be," commented Andersen.

It is a very strong line up and as the riders will be in teams it will be much more than just an individual meeting. The full line up is below but includes Leigh Adams, Todd Wiltshire, Lee Richardson, Jason Crump, Nicki Pedersen, Mark Loram, Joe Screen and Paul Hurry.

Adult admission remains at ?12 with concessions only paying ?5. Brian was also keen to ensure that Families could enjoy his meeting and so he has retained the popular kids for a quid scheme. Souvenir Programmes will be ?2.50 and one lucky programme holder will win a sensational weekend for two in Paris courtesy of Parry's International.

Full Line Up (in riding order): Leigh Adams & Lukas Dryml, Todd Wiltshire & Steve Johnston, Andreas Jonsson & Lee Richardson, Jason Crump & Jason Lyons, Sebastian Ulamek & Nicki Pedersen, Mark Loram & Joe Screen, Paul Hurry & Jesper Jensen.
