The Wightlink Islanders have the best away record in the League this season with three victories and could have their skipper, Ray "Ripper" Morton back in action after recovering from a wrist injury.

He is supported by fellow heat leaders Australian Adam Shields and Danny Bird. At second string is impressive Danish rider Henning Bager while former Trelawny man Gary Phelps is at reserve.

The JAG Tigers will again have Tom Brown guesting for injured reserve Pavel Ondrasik. Brown, a Conference League rider with Newport, made an instant impression at the Moto Parc last Tuesday when he scored seven points in the Premier League match against Reading.

The meeting has been switched to Wednesday from the usual Tuesday date to avoid clashing with the televised World Cup qualifier at Eastbourne.
