The curtain comes down on the 2002 speedway season tomorrow night (Wednesday) at the Norfolk Arena when the Silver Machine Knights take on the Belle Vue Maun Motors Aces.

And, in a continuing effort to bring speed fans value for money, the King's Lynn promotion have arranged for sidecar and quad racing too, to make it a real end of season 'Feast of Speed'.

Normal Admission prices apply and for that (weather permitting of course!) fans with get to see....

- Fifteen heats of Sky Sports Elite League Speedway,
- Thirteen heats of four-wheeled Quad bike racing,
and eight heats of spectacular 1000cc sidecar speedway involving the monster 1000cc outfits and their daredevil riders and passengers!

36 races... an evening not to be missed and it gets underway with the tapes up on race 1 at 7.45pm!

Meanwhile teams wise the Knights expect to be at full strength for the meeting with GP stars Nicki Pedersen and Sebastian Ulamek flying into the country especially for the meeting.

However, the team fielded by the Belle Vue management will not include ex-Knights skipper Jason Crump and they will be operating the "rider replacement regulations to cover for his absence."

No explanation has been forthcoming and it is interesting to note that Crump, who'll be back on home territory in Australia for the final Grand Prix in Sydney on October 26, won the prestigious Czech Golden Helmet meeting on Sunday, the day after Belle Vue nominated their side.

Named Knights team for the Belle Vue match:

1. Nicki Pedersen (C)
2. Tom P Madsen
3. Travis McGowan
4. Freddie Eriksson
5. Sebastian Ulamek
6. Jernej Kolenko
7. Lukasz Jankowski *

* Young Polish sensation Jankowski is absolutely determined to ride tomorrow despite dislocating a shoulder in last Wednesday's home meeting.
