Pedersen comes in on a loan deal from Wolverhampton but Wagstaff is convinced that he is on the verge of making a major breakthrough in the sport

"Nicki is emerging as one of the top riders in the Grand Prix series and I have no doubts that with his experience at Newcastle and Wolverhampton he will adapt well to the Oxford circuit," Wagstaff explained.

Pedersen's crowning glory so far was his first ever GP win at Chorzow in Poland last September.
