Hamill back with Bees in 2003.

American star Billy Hamill will be back with Coventry Bees in 2003 - and the former World Champion will again skipper the team.

Hamill, who took over the Coventry captaincy from fellow Californian Greg Hancock on the eve of the 2001 campaign, agreed terms for a sixth season with the Bees on Monday night.

He joins Stuart Robson and Lee Richardson in settling his contract for 2003.

Bees boss Colin Pratt said: "We had talked before but I faxed over some details to Billy in America on Monday afternoon and he phoned me back later that night to accept.
