Chickerell offer glimpse of future.

Speedway fans are invited to an open day at the Willowbed Hall in Chickerell this coming weekend.

Representatives from the Chickerell Smugglers will be at the town venue on Sunday 2nd February between 11am and 4pm where supporters can view plans of the Smugglers' proposed track at Buckland Ripers and watch videos of some the sport's great meetings.

A speedway bike will also be available for inspection, along with other equipment used in the sport.

Promoter Brian White said: "It's a chance for fans to come and have a chat and a cup of coffee and see what's in store if we get planning permission. Everyone is very welcome to attend and we look forward to seeing friends old and new."
