Tatum receives MBE at Buckingham Palace.
Arena-Essex Speedway star Kelvin Tatum today received his MBE from Her Majesty the Queen, at Buckingham Palace, London [pictured].
The Hammers captain was accompanied by his wife Debbie, their daughter Emma and his sister Jenny for the special occasion - in recognition of his services to Speedway.
Tatum's award is a great personal achievement and has been welcomed within the Speedway community.
The Sussex based rider was born in Epsom, Surrey in 1964, and has had a dazzling career so far, that includes being:

* Commonwealth Champion four times.
* Overseas Champion twice.
* British Champion twice.
* Inter Continental Champion once.
* Reaching seven speedway World Finals, finishing third in 1986.
In addition to the above Tatum has made well over 70 appearances at international level and been a regular presenter with Sky Sports on their live speedway coverage.
