Potential Long Eaton owners to pour over plans
The promotional duo behind plans to bring Long Eaton speedway back from the dead - Nigel Wordsworth and John Bailey have been invited by the stadium site's potential new owners to look over amended plans.
Speaking at the recent Save the Stadium meeting, organiser Martin North indictaed that although progress continues to be made there are still some slight complications but nothing that is expected to be a show-stopper.

The recent loss of Labour in the local council elections and resulting change of control within Erewash Borough Council is not expected to effect things either.
The next Save the Stadium meeting is arranged for Tuesday June 3rd at Brennans in Regent Street, Long Eaton at 8pm as their years of support to bring speedway back to the town creep closer to fruition.
