Norton returns to Hull.

Danny Norton, the Hull-based young speedway rider, is to make his first appearance at Craven Park Stadium this season. Banned under previous manager John Bailey, Danny is keen to get to grips with the Hull track once again and to show the new management how he has advanced this year.

Danny spent many hours at Hull Speedway as a junior. Snapped up by Peterborough for their Conference League team last year, he has been scoring well this season and has also had some runs with the Premier League club Reading.

Danny's homecoming will be tricky, though. He will be part of the Preston Road Flyers team which takes on the Middlesbrough Bears in a second half match. However, he is drawn against new Hull signing Jimmy Jansson who is having an outing with the Bears in preparation for his first full team match next Saturday. So the youngster will have to give his best if he wishes his season debut to be a successful one.
