Henriksson 'so keen' to do well on Telford ice.
Anders Henriksson will make what seems likely to be his only UK appearance of the season in Telford's ice meetings on February 16. The former Newport and Reading favourite is a big favourite with the fans in Shropshire.

Testimonial for popular Boyce.
Popular Australian ride Craig Boyce will have his testimonial meeting at Poole, the club he rode with for many seasons and still remains an asset of, on 27 August.
Jonsson sticks with Coventry Bees.
Andreas Jonsson has become the latest rider to agree terms with Coventry Bees - making it four down, three to go for boss Colin Pratt.

Kolenko becomes Machine reserve.
The Oxford Silver Machine have announced signing number three. Slovenian, Jernej Kolenko has followed Nicki Pedersen and Travis McGowan to Oxford and will line up in one of the reserve berths.

Jirout car smash rocks Somerset.
Somerset have been rocked by the news that Mario Jirout will miss the start of the season after suffering back injuries in a car crash. Heis due to have surgery after the accident in the Czech Republic and early reports suggest he has full movement.
Norris stays with Eagles.
David Norris has been confirmed as the final piece in Eastbourne's team-building jigsaw for the 2003 season. Norris, who celebrated a testimonial at Arlington last season, enjoyed a successful campaign which saw him win the supporters' rider of the year award.
Iversen becomes a Wasp.
Newport have completed the signing of talented young Dane Niels Kristian Iversen. The former King's Lynn rider will spend his first full season of British racing as third heat-leader for the Wasps.
Racers face M4 rivals Robins.
Reading Racers fans can look forward to an appetising start to their 2003 season, as they will open up against M4 rivals Newport Wasps and Swindon Robins, in the opening weeks of the new campaign.
Jesper B Jensen keen on Elite.
Jesper B Jensen is still keen to ride in the Sky Sports Elite League after missing out on Wolverhampton's team plans. The former world under-21 champion has been with the Monmore club throughout his British career but is now looking for a move.
Two new Newport riders to be revealed soon...
Newport are set to finally unveil a new signing after almost three-months of waiting. Frank Smart, Craig Watson and Carl Wilkinson have so far signed for the Wasps with new faces to follow in what promnises to be a new-look squad.

Hamill back with Bees in 2003.
American star Billy Hamill will be back with Coventry Bees in 2003 - and the former World Champion will again skipper the team.

Reading have completed their 2003 team, by announcing that Stuart Williams will fill the remaining spot at number seven.

Oxford Speedway has announced the first signing for the 2003 season, where they will be competing in the Sky Sports Elite League - and it is talented Dane Nicki Pedersen who has been named as the first rider to put pen to paper and join the Cowley club...

Stead victorious at Bibra Lake.
Workington's Simon Stead won the meeting at Bibra Lake, Western Australia, on Saturday. The event marked Lee Redmond's final competitive speedway fixture before retirement.
A Slovenian in Cornwall.
Trelawny have signed European under 19 champion Matej Zagar to boost the top end of their team for the 2003 season. Zagar, who is also the Slovenian champion, will join skipper Chris Harris and track record holder Emiliano Sanchez as the third heat leader for the club.
Reading appoint officers, signings due Monday.
Reading Speedway have announced the appointment of Paul Hunsdon as their Commercial Manager and Andy Povey as the club's Press Officer.
Poole takes NSW championship.
Mick Poole roared to victory in the New South Wales championship at Gosford last night. Craig Watson battled through for second place with Jaye Stevens third.

Harding joins King's Lynn.
Australian youngster Trevor Harding has been named as King's Lynn's fourth signing of the winter. Harding made his British debut with Sheffield's Conference League side last season but is now preparing for the step up to Premier standard.

Swindon announce admission prices for 2003.
Swindon Speedway have announced an adult admission price of ?9.50 for Premier League meetings in the forthcoming season. Concessions will be charged ?6.00, and this represents the first price increase since 1995.
Hammers complete line-up with double signing.
Arena Essex has announced the signings of both Maik Groen and David Ruud for their new-look squad. Dutchman Groen is an experienced all-round motorcyclist and will start the season at reserve whilst Ruud will share a heat-leader role with Joonas Kylmakoorpi.

Herne pleased with first Australian final.
The Hammers young Aussie, Lee Herne, competed in his first National Final last weekend when he was up against 15 other riders in the Australian Final.
Peterborough chases Sullivan despite setback.
Peterborough are still hoping to reach an agreement with their top rider Ryan Sullivan despite a breakdown in talks over the weekend. Team boss Jim Lynch and owner Mick Horton have both been held negotiations with the Australian Grand Prix star without success.
Age no barrier for Telford ice event.
Teenage sensation James Brundle and veteran track star Les Collins will make indoor ice speedway history at Telford next month. Both have signed up for the event on Sunday February 16 and are double proof that age is no barrier.

Young Brits dominate in Mildura.
While Leigh Adams was making history winning his seventh Australian title, three young British riders were cleaning up at a meeting held in Adams' home town of Mildura. Joe Cook headed the field from Aidan Collins and Adam Allott with Joel Parsons fourth.
