Hammers complete line-up with double signing.
Arena Essex has announced the signings of both Maik Groen and David Ruud for their new-look squad.
Dutchman Groen is an experienced all-round motorcyclist and will start the season at reserve whilst Ruud will share a heat-leader role with Joonas Kylmakoorpi.

The signing of David Ruud is required to cover for Finnish International Joonas Kylmakorpi, who will be doubling up for the Hammers in the Premier League and Elite League club The Eastbourne Eagles.
The Eagles will technically have first call on the services of Joonas in the event of both teams racing on the same night. The Hammers needed to cover for Joonas possibly missing any meetings with a rider of similar potential.
Ruud will also be riding for the Poole Pirates in 2003 and the Pirates will have first call on him. The Hammers Promotion says this 'doubling up' will give further options when deciding on their match to match team make-up.
