Team LNT will field its Ginetta G55 GT3 in the first GT Open event to be held at the 'Home of British Motorsport', with Ginetta chairman Lawrence Tomlinson and factory driver Mike Simpson sharing driving duties.

The Ginetta will run in the GTS class for the weekend, which will feature two a pair of races; one running to 70 minutes on Saturday and a second 50 minute race on Sunday.

"The Ginetta G55 GT3 car has already proven itself as a GT contender within the UK," Tomlinson said. "Moving forwards, the International GT Open is a great platform to showcase the might of the Ginetta G55 GT3 car alongside a number of world-class marques on a more global scale."

The LNT Ginetta will be one of a number of 'home' entries for British fans to cheers on, with the Balfe Motorsport team also confirming an entry with its Ferrari 458 for James Swift and Shaun Balfe.

Series regulars Duncan Cameron and Matt Griffin will seek to maintain their title challenge in the Super GT class in their AF Corse-run Ferrari 458 GT2, while Michael Lyons will again be in action in the team's GT3 car alongside Matteo Beretta.
