Foggy undergoes second brain scan.

Defending World Superbike Champion Carl Fogarty was given a second brain scan recently after the Ducati star suffered a severe bout of headaches at his Blackburn home.

Fogarty originally took a precautionary scan just after he suffered a broken arm in a collision with Robert Ulm during the second round of the World Superbike series at Phillip Island. The arm injury is expected to keep Foggy out of action until the late summer but after feeling dizzy, the rider asked to be checked out again.

"I just want to make sure everything is O.K," said Carl who has said that he will continue to ride once his injuries have cleared up. Foggy was forced to miss the British round of the World Championship at Donington Park and it is unclear whether he will race at Brands Hatch later in the year.

Foggy wants to give his adoring fans one last chance to see him race on home soil before he hangs up his leathers.
