Charpentier and Honda lead WSS test.

At the first full official test for the World Supersport riders Sebastien Charpentier hit the ground running setting the fastest time of the first day over one second ahead of his nearest rival Michel Fabrizio.

Charpentier's Winston Ten Kate team-mate Katsuaki Fujiwara set the eighth fastest time as he settles into the new Honda CBR600RR.

Jurgen Vd Goorbergh only managed to set the 13th fastest time on his new Ducati 749R, over four seconds behind the leading Ducati of Gianluca Nannelli in fifth.

The Qatar test concludes tomorrow (Sunday 20th February)
