Yuki-san and Alstare lead testers on final day.
World Superbike new boy Yukio Kagayama set the fastest time on the final day of the official pre-season WSBK test at Qatar.
As the timer counted down to the last half hour of the final session all the testers turned their attention to qualifying and used their extra sticky rubber for the remainder of the session.
This saw times tumble, with Yamaha Motor France's Sebastien Gimbert being the first to break the 2min 01secs barrier.

Yamaha Sterilgarda's Jose Luis Cardoso was the next rider to smash through the 2min 01secs wall, setting his best time of the test with a 2min 01.797secs, which briefly saw him hold the top spot.
That was until the Alstare Suzuki team let their riders on track with their qualifying tyres. Both Troy Corser and Yukio Kagayama went over half a second quicker than they did on race tyres to jump back to the top of the timing sheets, however there was a shock in store for the Corona backed team. Instead of Troy being the top rider, as he had lead the field over the test, it was new boy Yukio Kagayama.
Regis Laconi fought hard to put a Ducati amongst the four-cylinder machines. He took the fourth fastest time in the dying stages also using a qualifying tyre, taking nearly a whole second off his previous time on race tyres. His World Champion team-mate James Toseland seems to have had difficulty setting up the Factory Ducati, only managing to set the tenth fastest time, 1.2secs off the fastest rider, and only the second twin in the top ten. However James may not have used a qualifying tyre as his team-mate had and went over 0.7secs faster.
Chris Walker on his return to the yellow machine put in a blinding effort to take the seventh fastest time of the test, and again manages to be the top Kawasaki rider.
The highest placed non-factory F05 Ducati was Lorenzo Lanzi on the SC Caracchi machine in 13th place, he also set the fastest speed through the trap at 311kph or 194.3mph.
