WSS: West fastest at reversed Misano.

Anthony West who is deputising for the injured Kevin Curtain on the SSP Yamaha has taken provisional pole position at Misano for round eight of the World Supersport championship.

The Misano circuit has been reversed and is therefore a new track to all riders which has evened up the playing field. Chasing West's time was British rider Craig Jones on the Reve Ekerold Honda who came home in provisional second place.

Rounding out the over night front row was Broc Parkes on the second SSP machine and reigning World Supersport Champion Sebastien Charpentier on the Hannspree Ten Kate Honda.

Charpentier's team-mate and current championship leader, Kenan Sofuoglu was in tenth place at the end of first qualifying.
