Max Biaggi names new son Leon

Max Biaggi won't forget 2010 in a hurry - not only did he win his and Aprilia's first World Superbike title, but he has now become a father for the second time.

Leon Alexandre Biaggi was born today (Thursday December 16) at the Princess Grace Hospital in Monte Carlo. Baby and mother Eleonora Pedron are doing 'very well'.

British rider Leon Haslam was Biaggi's closest rival during the 2010 WSBK championship, while another Leon (Camier) was his team-mate. We're not sure if the name choice is a coincidence.

Biaggi also has a 15 month old daughter called Ines.
