Rule Britannia - British riders make WSBK history

The strength of the British contingent in the World Superbike Championship has been known for years with former champions including Tom Sykes, James Toseland and, most notably, Carl Fogarty amongst those to have tasted considerable success in the past.

However, the 2015 season has now seen the UK make another little bit of World Superbike history as it becomes the first nation to lock out the podium positions for the second round in succession

Following Jonathan Rea, Leon Haslam and Chaz Davies' share of the rostrum spoils in both races at Phillip Island, Rea, Haslam, Tom Sykes and Alex Lowes flew the union jack again at the Chang International Circuit in Thailand, marking the first time one single nation has taken all podium positions in four consecutive races.

The result leaves the UK riders well placed in the standings too with Rea leading Haslam and Sykes, while Davies and Lowes are currently sixth and seventh overall.
