Suzuki drops Motec for Magnetti Marelli electronics

Alex Lowes says he is anticipating issues with his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki as the team makes the switch over to new Magnetti Marelli electronics from the third round.

The team has persevered with Motec electronics up until now, but after receiving criticism from the outgoing Eugene Laverty in 2014, it will adopted a Magnetti Marelli package for 2015.

However, though Lowes - a podium winner last time out in Thailand - expects this to be a step in the right direction, he accepts it may cause transition issues in the short-term.

"I'm looking forward to Aragon and we'll continue to work hard step-by-step. We plan to have the new Magneti Marelli electronics so that may throw up some problems as we work through any new setup issues, but we have to approach it with a calm, clear mind and get the most from the weekend that we can.

"I can't wait to ride my Suzuki again so I know I'm going to keep having fun, enjoy it and do the best I can come race day!"
